What exactly is a “not so traditional solo” you ask?  It is actually a solo combining many of the great rudiments no longer used in the modern day marching percussion repertoire combined with contemporary, hybrid, and compound rudiments utilized by today’s drummer.  The pieces included on this page represent a crossroad where the contemporary drummer can be exposed to many traditional rudiments they won’t experience in a halftime or drum and bugle corps show.
